The ICEO Agriculture Project focuses on empowering Batwa families and other vulnerable communities through modern farming techniques and sustainable agriculture. We support the establishment of kitchen gardens to enhance food security, nutrition, and income generation. Our programs teach improved soil management, organic composting, and small-scale irrigation systems that ensure year-round food availability.
Through agricultural training, distribution of seeds, and introduction of value addition, we aim to transform subsistence farmers into agribusiness owners. This project not only improves livelihoods but also strengthens environmental stewardship by promoting eco-friendly farming practices around Echuya Forest.
